Patek Philippe Rare Handcrafts 5738/50R-010 is a 39.5 mm rose gold Golden Ellipse watch, one of a limited series of fifteen pieces named Etna. The case has the collection's characteristic elongated oval shape, measuring 39.5 mm across with a thickness of 6.58 mm. Its dial is executed in cloisonné and paillonné enamel with miniature painting, depicting Mount Etna in the midst of eruption. The movement is the calibre 240, an ultra-thin self-winding mechanism with a central seconds display and a 48-hour power reserve. Cheveu-style hands in rose gold mark the hours and minutes over the enamel dial. A dark chestnut alligator leather strap closes with a rose gold prong buckle shaped to echo the case's ellipse. Being humidity- and dust-protected only, the watch carries no water resistance rating.
