Patek Philippe presents the Rare Handcrafts 5738/50G-048, a white gold Golden Ellipse case measuring 39.5 mm across and 6.58 mm thick. The dial is worked in Grand Feu cloisonné enamel with miniature painting, depicting an owl in white tones on a white ground, and the watch is set with diamonds. A sapphire crystal protects the scene, and the display runs with a central seconds hand. Inside sits the calibre 240, a self-winding, ultra-thin movement with an off-centre minirotor and a Gyromax balance, giving 48 hours of power reserve. The strap is alligator leather in shiny taupe, closed with a white gold pin buckle shaped to echo the elliptical case.
