The dial itself shows a moving sky chart of the Northern Hemisphere, tracking the position of Sirius and the Moon along with the Moon's phases. A date is displayed by hand rather than by the usual mechanism. The movement has a 22K gold off-centre minirotor and runs at 21,600 semi-oscillations per hour with a power reserve of 38 to 48 hours.
