Patek Philippe presents the Golden Ellipse 5738R-001, a rose gold dress watch measuring 39.5 mm across its distinctive elongated case. At 5.9 mm thick, it is the thinnest case in the collection, its proportions drawn from the golden section rather than a round or rectangular form. A sapphire crystal sits over the sunburst ebony black dial, set with rose gold applied baton-style hour markers and cheveu-style hands. The crown carries a black onyx cabochon. Inside is the calibre 240, a self-winding movement with an off-centre minirotor and a 48-hour power reserve. The watch is set with diamonds. It comes on a black alligator leather strap with a rose gold prong buckle. Water resistance is rated to 30 metres.
