Patek Philippe's Complications 5396R-016 is a 38.5 mm rose gold annual calendar with a case measuring 11.2 mm thick. The self-winding calibre 26-330 S QA LU 24H drives day, date and month displays along with a moon phase and a 24-hour indication, all visible through a sapphire crystal case back. The pink dial carries central seconds along with the calendar apertures grouped for easy reading. Patek Philippe's Annual Calendar mechanism, patented in 1996, needs only one correction a year to account for the different month lengths. Power reserve runs to a maximum of 45 hours. The watch is fitted to a dark chestnut alligator leather strap closed with a rose gold folding clasp. Water resistance stands at 30 metres, modest but typical for a dress watch of this kind.
