Patek Philippe's Calatrava 7200/50G-012 has a 34.6 mm white gold case, part of the Officer's-style line with straight lugs and screwed-in strap bars. Case thickness measures 7.37 mm, giving the piece a slim profile on the wrist. The sunburst blue dial sits under a sapphire crystal, with a matching sapphire back that shows off the movement. Inside is the calibre 240, a self-winding, ultra-thin movement with a 22K gold mini-rotor and a 48 hour power reserve. The display back lets the mini-rotor construction be seen from behind. An alligator leather strap in a matching blue tone closes with a white gold pin buckle. Water resistance is set at 30 metres, in keeping with a dress watch rather than a tool for diving.
