Patek Philippe Calatrava 5088

Patek Philippe presents the Calatrava 5088, reference 5088/100P-001, a 38 mm platinum case with hand-engraved and enamelled flanks. The case measures 8.3 mm thick and carries a black enamelled dial with volutes and arabesques set beneath white gold dauphine hands. A sapphire crystal covers the dial, and a matching sapphire case back reveals the movement. That movement is the calibre 240, an ultra-thin self-winding calibre with a 48-hour power reserve and a 22K gold off-centre minirotor. A diamond is set at 6 o'clock on the case. The watch is fitted to a shiny black alligator strap with a hand-engraved platinum pin buckle, and the case keeps its rating of 30 metres water resistance.
