A polished bezel borders the grey circular-brushed dial, which has luminous Arabic numerals and hour markers and a Panerai Firenze inscription. Manual-winding calibre P.5000 contains 21 jewels, 146 components, two barrels and an eight-day power reserve. Its Glucydur balance beats at 21,600 alternations per hour; the movement has an Incabloc Parechoc anti-shock device. A dark brown calf leather strap closes with a brushed steel trapezoidal pin buckle. The watch comes with a second strap, black caoutchouc.
