OMEGA Speedmaster Moonphase

Omega's Speedmaster Moonphase, reference 304.93.44.52.99.004, is a chronograph cased in platinum at 44.25 mm. The case measures 17.05 mm thick with a lug-to-lug span of 50 mm, and the grey dial sits under a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal treated on both sides against reflection. Inside is the self-winding calibre 9905, a column-wheel chronograph with a Co-Axial escapement and a silicon balance-spring, certified as a Master Chronometer by METAS and resistant to fields up to 15,000 gauss. Two barrels give it a 60-hour power reserve. The dial also carries a moonphase display and small seconds, with a transparent caseback showing the movement. A blue alligator leather strap with a platinum foldover clasp completes the watch, rated to 100 metres of water resistance.
