The IWC Schaffhausen Portugieser Perpetual Calendar 44, reference IW503703, has a 44.4 mm case in 18 ct white gold. The case measures 15 mm thick, with a lug width of 22 mm, and carries a 50 metre water resistance rating. An automatic, self-winding, IWC-manufactured movement, calibre 52616, drives the watch, offering a power reserve of 168 hours. The perpetual calendar shows the date, day, month and year in four digits, alongside a moon phase display and a power reserve indicator, with small hacking seconds rounding out the display. A sapphire panel on the back case allows a view of the movement. Double box-glass sapphire crystals with antireflective coating cover the Horizon blue dial.
