IWC Schaffhausen's Big Pilot's Watch Perpetual Calendar IW503608 has a stainless steel case measuring 46.2 mm across. The case stands 15.4 mm thick, and the crown screws down against the case. A green dial sits under a convex sapphire crystal with antireflective coating on both sides. The self-winding calibre 52616 drives the watch, an IWC-manufactured movement with 168 hours of power reserve, and a display back shows the mechanism. The perpetual calendar carries date, day, month and year along with a moon phase display, and small seconds and a power reserve indication appear as well. Water resistance is rated to 60 metres. A green rubber strap, 22 mm at the lug, comes fitted with the EasX-CHANGE system.
