The Grand Seiko Sport, reference SBGE248, is a Spring Drive GMT watch with a 44 mm steel case. Above the dial is a dual-curved sapphire crystal, with anti-reflective coating on its inner surface. Measuring 50.8 mm lug-to-lug, the case is 14.7 mm thick; water resistance is rated to 200 metres. The watch has a date display and a power reserve indicator. The clasp is a folding clasp with push button release; LumiBrite is applied to the hands and indices. Approximately 72 hours of power reserve is provided by Spring Drive calibre 9R66, with 30 jewels.
