The Grand Seiko Sport, reference SBGC253, is a Spring Drive GMT chronograph with a 44.5 mm titanium case. The white dial has a textured pattern inspired by a lion's mane. The lug-to-lug measurement is 50 mm, and case thickness is 16.8 mm; water resistance is rated to 200 metres. Spring Drive calibre 9R86 has 50 jewels and approximately 72 hours of power reserve. Above the dial is a dual-curved sapphire crystal, with anti-reflective coating on its inner surface. The watch has a date display, a power reserve indicator, and a see-through case back. The titanium bracelet closes with a folding extension clasp with a locking mechanism.
