The Grand Seiko Masterpiece, reference SBGD201, is a Spring Drive watch with a platinum case measuring 43 mm in diameter. The case measures 13.2 mm thick and 51.8 mm lug-to-lug; water resistance is rated to 100 metres. A box-shaped sapphire crystal has an anti-reflective coating on the inner surface. The watch has a power reserve indicator and a see-through case back. A crocodile leather strap closes with a folding clasp in platinum with push button release. The dial evokes snow on a winter morning in the Suwa region. Spring Drive calibre 9R01 has 56 jewels and approximately 192 hours of power reserve.
