The Grand Seiko Evolution 9 Spring Drive U.F.A., reference SLGB009, has a steel case measuring 40 mm in diameter. Above the dial is a box-shaped sapphire crystal, with anti-reflective coating on its inner surface. Measuring 47.2 mm lug-to-lug, the case is 11.7 mm thick; water resistance is rated to 100 metres. The watch has a date display, a power reserve indicator, and a see-through case back. The steel bracelet has a folding clasp with micro-adjustment. The dial pattern draws on white birch forests near Shinshu Watch Studio. Approximately 72 hours of power reserve is provided by Spring Drive calibre 9RB2, with 34 jewels.
