The Grand Seiko Evolution 9, reference SLGA021, is a Spring Drive watch with a steel case measuring 40 mm in diameter. Case thickness is 11.8 mm, with a lug-to-lug measurement of 47.9 mm; water resistance is rated to 100 metres. The dial is covered by a dual-curved sapphire crystal with an inner anti-reflective coating. The textured blue dial evokes the surface of Lake Suwa before dawn. This model has a date display, a power reserve indicator, and a see-through case back. A folding clasp with push button release closes the steel bracelet. Calibre 9RA2 is Spring Drive and has approximately 120 hours of power reserve.
