Breitling's Chronomat B31 Automatic 40, reference AB3114101C1A1, is a dive watch with a 40 mm stainless steel case. Thickness measures 10.99 mm, and the screw-down crown seals the case against the elements. A sapphire crystal covers the blue dial, which sits above a screwed-in caseback also finished in sapphire. Inside, the self-winding manufacture calibre B31 is chronometer-certified and delivers a power reserve of approximately 78 hours. The dial shows the date through an aperture and a central seconds hand. A stainless steel bracelet completes the piece. Rated to 200 metres, the case is built for regular water exposure.
