Audemars Piguet Ultra-Complication Universelle (RD#4)

Audemars Piguet's Ultra-Complication Universelle, reference 26398BC.OO.D002CR.99, has a 42 mm white gold case with a thickness of 15.55 mm. The black dial sits under a sapphire crystal and pairs with a self-winding calibre 1000, one of the most complicated movements Audemars Piguet has produced. This is a chronograph, and it combines a flyback and split-seconds function with a minute repeater, tourbillon and moon phase display in a single case. A large date also appears on the dial alongside these functions. It is a limited edition. The case closes on a black alligator leather strap fitted with a white gold folding clasp. Water resistance is modest for such a complicated piece, rated to 30 metres.
