Audemars Piguet Selfwinding Tanzanite "50th Anniversary"

Audemars Piguet's Royal Oak Selfwinding Tanzanite "50th Anniversary", reference 15554BC.TF.1274BC.01, has a 37 mm case in white gold. The case measures 9.8 mm thick and the dial sits under a sapphire crystal. Inside is the self-winding calibre 5909, showing hours, minutes and centre seconds, fitted with the dedicated "50-years" oscillating weight. The blue dial is matched to a white gold bracelet set with 790 baguette-cut tanzanites, totalling around 26.4 carats. This piece belongs to a limited set of ten, each finished with a different gemstone. The bracelet closes with an AP folding clasp. Water resistance is a modest 20 metres, in keeping with its dress-watch character.
