Audemars Piguet Selfwinding Amethyst "50th Anniversary"

Audemars Piguet's Royal Oak Selfwinding "50th Anniversary" ref. 15554BC.AY.1274BC.01 is a 37 mm women's model in white gold. The case measures 9.8 mm thick and carries a purple dial under a sapphire crystal. Inside is the self-winding calibre 5909, which drives hours, minutes and a central seconds function. This piece is set with diamonds, part of a set of ten pieces each finished with a different gemstone. The bracelet is white gold and closes with a folding clasp. Water resistance is rated to 20 metres, modest but consistent with a dress watch built around its stone setting rather than daily wear.
