Audemars Piguet Selfwinding Blue Topaz "50th Anniversary"

Audemars Piguet's Royal Oak Selfwinding "50th Anniversary" ref. 15554BC.TO.1274BC.01 is a 37 mm case in 18-carat white gold. The case measures 9.8 mm thick and carries a turquoise dial under a sapphire crystal. Self-winding calibre 5909 drives the hours, minutes and centre seconds, and the movement is fitted with a dedicated "50-years" oscillating weight. The bracelet, also white gold, is set with baguette-cut blue topaz totalling around 28.1 carats across 790 stones, giving the piece a distinct shine. It closes with an AP folding clasp. This example belongs to a set of ten, each finished with a different gemstone. Water resistance sits at a modest 20 metres, enough for everyday wear but not for swimming.
