VK83 is a meca-quartz chronograph movement manufactured by Time Module Inc. (TMI). As part of TMI's in-house VK caliber family, it combines quartz timekeeping with a mechanical chronograph module for a hybrid analog-digital feel. The movement is popular among modders and microbrands seeking a reliable chronograph base. It remains in production.
