Family: VK
The VK73 is a meca-quartz chronograph movement manufactured by Time Module Inc. (TMI). As part of TMI's in-house VK caliber family, it combines quartz timekeeping with a mechanical chronograph module, offering the precision of quartz with the tactile feel of mechanical chronograph operation. The movement remains in production and is also known as the VK73A.
