The Valjoux 7740 is a manual-winding chronograph movement manufactured by Valjoux and used by TAG Heuer in vintage Carrera references from the 1960s and 1970s. As an ébauches-supplied caliber rather than an in-house development, it represents the period when Heuer relied on established Swiss suppliers for chronograph movements. Production has been discontinued.
