The Patek Philippe 27-460-Q is an automatic movement that introduced the first self-winding perpetual calendar complication in a wristwatch. Based on the 27-460 automatic caliber, it launched around 1962. A later version, the 27-460 QB, added a leap year indicator. This movement established Patek Philippe's perpetual calendar expertise.
