Family: 15xx
The OMEGA caliber 1538 is a quartz perpetual calendar movement launched in 1994 and now discontinued. As a non-Omega in-house caliber, it was sourced externally rather than developed internally. The perpetual calendar complication automatically tracks month lengths and leap years, displaying date, day, month, and year. The movement appeared in select Omega dress watches from the 1990s.
