Caliber 1109 is an automatic movement introduced by OMEGA in 1985. Based on the ETA 2000-1, it was designed specifically for ladies' watches and produced as part of Omega's 11xx caliber family. The movement was not manufactured in-house, relying on the established ETA base rather than a proprietary Omega design. Production has been discontinued.
