Family: LF 2xx72h power reserve

The LF 229.01 is an automatic micro-rotor movement introduced by Laurent Ferrier in 2012, remaining in production. It features a natural escapement with a double direct-impulse system using silicon and nickel-phosphorus components, derived from the Breguet design. The 18K gold off-center micro-rotor is positioned between the mainplate and bridge for stability and thinness. The movement offers a 72-hour power reserve and is finished with Geneva stripes, hand-polished screws, and chamfered edges. It powers the Galet Micro-Rotor and Galet Square Micro-Rotor.
