The FBN 228.01 is an automatic movement manufactured by Laurent Ferrier, introduced in 2015. It features a micro-rotor with pawl-fitted design and a double direct-impulse escapement for improved efficiency, paired with silent block shock protection for the micro-rotor. The movement delivers a 72-hour power reserve and is decorated with Geneva stripes, chamfered edges, and hand-polished screws. In production, it powers the Square Regulateur and is designed for regulator-style display with the hour indicated at 12, a large central minutes hand, and seconds at 6.
