Grand Seiko 9SA5

Caliber 9SA5 is an automatic movement introduced by Grand Seiko in 2020 as the first in the Evolution 9 series. It operates at 36,000 vph with an 80-hour power reserve and features the Dual Impulse Escapement with MEMS technology, paired with a free-sprung balance and overcoil hairspring. The movement is 15% slimmer than previous hi-beat calibers and includes an instant date change. It remains in production.
