The AL-725 is an automatic chronograph movement manufactured by Alpina in Switzerland. Operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour, it is based on the Valjoux 7750 with the small seconds hand removed to create a vertical clutch layout for easier chronograph reading. This modification distinguishes it from the standard 7750 while maintaining the robust architecture of the base movement.
