Union Glashütte is a German watch manufacturer based in Glashütte, Saxony, currently part of the Swatch Group's High Range division. The brand was originally founded in 1893 by clock wholesaler Johannes Dürrstein with the goal of offering Glashütte-quality watches at more accessible prices. The original company ceased operations in the 1930s, but the brand was revived in 1996 and acquired by the Swatch Group in 2000. Union Glashütte watches are manufactured with the same vertical integration and quality standards as Glashütte Original, offering German watchmaking excellence at competitive price points.
