Schaumburg Watch
ActiveSchaumburg Watch makes mechanical watches in Rinteln, including moon-phase complications and hand-engraved and skeletonised pieces.
Founded in 1998 by Frank Dilbakowski, Schaumburg Watch is based in Rinteln in Lower Saxony. The current operation is presented by Gnomonik GmbH. Its workshop combines development, CNC production of selected movement parts, dial making, hand engraving, skeletonisation, assembly and testing. Published examinations of its movements document Unitas bases and, for the SW-11, a Soprod A10 base with a modified moon-phase display. Its component work and finishing should not be confused with production of an entire proprietary movement.
