Dodane
RevivedFrench watchmaker producing Type 21 and Type 23 pilot chronographs for the French military since 1929.
Dodane was founded in 1857 in Besançon, France. The brand became known for producing chronographs for the French Air Force and Navy, particularly the Type 21 flyback chronograph introduced in 1954 and the Type 23 developed in the 1980s. Production ceased in the 1990s during the quartz crisis. The brand was revived in the early 2000s by Cédric Dodane, a fifth-generation family member, who reintroduced the Type 21 and Type 23 models.
