Diesel was founded in 1978 by Renzo Rosso in Molvena, Italy. The brand became known for luxury denim and innovative fashion with a rebellious, provocative attitude. In 2007, Diesel partnered with Fossil Group for production of its watch collection under license. Diesel watches feature bold, oversized designs with an industrial aesthetic, characterized by distinctive styling and premium materials. The company is part of the OTB Group (Only The Brave), which also owns Maison Margiela, Viktor & Rolf, and Marni. The brand operates over 400 stores worldwide.
