Scottish independent watchmaker specializing in hand-crafted enamel dial watches, producing genuine grand feu enamel dials in-house including the world's first fume enamel dial.

Lewis Heath founded anOrdain in 2015 in Glasgow, Scotland. The brand name comes from Loch an Ordain, a lochan in the Scottish Highlands. Heath taught himself the art of enamel dial making and launched the first watches in 2018 with the Model 1, featuring in-house grand feu enamel dials at prices previously unattainable. anOrdain invented a method for creating gradient fume enamel dials. The brand moved into its Kelvingrove studio in 2019. In 2021, a French watchmaker was hired to develop a moonphase module for the manual-wind ETA 6498. The Model 3 'Method' debuted in 2023, featuring wave-pattern enamel dials inspired by Method Studio, a Scottish woodworking workshop. anOrdain also acquired fellow Scottish brand Paulin Watches in 2023. By 2024, the company moved into a new purpose-built factory in Glasgow, with a waitlist extending to 2028. The team includes about 25 craftspeople. anOrdain is a member of the Heritage Crafts Association.
