Ulysse Nardin UR-FREAK

Ulysse Nardin's UR-FREAK, reference 2413-500LE-2A-UR/3B, is a titanium watch measuring 44 mm across. The case stands 13.77 mm thick and houses a self-winding calibre UN-241 with a flying carousel movement that rotates around its own axis rather than using conventional hands set on a dial. A sapphire crystal covers the display, and the satellite time system shows hours and minutes only. Power reserve runs to 90 hours, unusually long for a piece of this type. This example belongs to a limited edition of 100 pieces, made in collaboration between Ulysse Nardin and URWERK. It comes on a textured rubber strap. The case carries a modest 30 metre water resistance rating, enough for everyday wear but not intended for diving.
