Ulysse Nardin Freak Vision

Ulysse Nardin's Freak Vision, reference 2502-250LE, comes in an 18 ct rose gold case measuring 45 mm across. The case is 14 mm thick and carries a sapphire crystal, including the box-domed glass that gives the design its slimmer profile. The self-winding calibre UN-250 doubles as the display, with the movement's flying carousel construction replacing a conventional dial and hands to indicate hours and minutes. Power reserve runs to 50 hours, and the escapement is built in silicon. This example is a limited edition, one of 99 pieces made. An alligator leather strap completes the watch. The case is rated to 30 metres of water resistance, modest given the piece is built for the wrist rather than the pool.
