Ulysse Nardin Blast Skeleton X

Ulysse Nardin's Blast Skeleton X, reference 3713-260B/00, has a 42 mm titanium case. It measures 10.65 mm thick, keeping the profile manageable despite the openworked construction. The sapphire crystal gives an unobstructed view through to the manufacture skeleton movement, caliber UN-371, wound by hand. This movement runs on a silicon escapement and stores 96 hours of power reserve, an unusually long figure for a hand-wound piece. The dial architecture is fully skeletonised, exposing the bridges and gear train rather than hiding them behind a solid plate. An alligator leather strap closes the piece on the wrist. Water resistance reaches 50 metres, adequate for a watch built around visual engineering rather than diving.
