Ulysse Nardin Blast Hourstriker

Ulysse Nardin's Blast Hourstriker, reference 6215-400/02, has a 45 mm case in titanium with black PVD and gold. The case measures 16 mm thick, substantial enough to house the striking mechanism beneath the dial. A sapphire crystal covers the front, and the self-winding calibre UN-621 drives the watch with a 60 hour power reserve. The movement carries a flying tourbillon and a chiming mechanism that sounds the hours and half-hours on demand, a rare pairing of complications in one case. An alligator leather strap closes the piece. Water resistance is a modest 30 metres, enough for daily wear but not for diving.
