Ulysse Nardin's Astrolabium Gallileo Galilei, reference 999-70, comes in a platinum case measuring 41 mm across. The case stands 13 mm thick and pairs with an alligator leather strap. A sapphire crystal covers the dial. Inside is the self-winding calibre UN-99, with 42 hours of power reserve and a genuine astronomical complication: it tracks the sun, moon and fixed stars as seen from Earth, along with sunrise, sunset, moon phases and eclipses. Ulysse Nardin produced this piece as a limited edition of 100. Water resistance is modest for such a complicated watch, rated to 30 metres.
