The Sinn U50 HYDRO SDR, reference 1051.040, is a dive watch with a 41 mm German Submarine Steel case water resistant to 5000 metres. Bead-blasted finishing covers the 11.8 mm thick case with its screw-down crown. HYDRO Technology prevents fogging and reflections at any viewing angle. The matte black dial shows a date and central seconds through sapphire crystal. Quartz calibre Ronda 715 Li includes an end-of-life indication. A captive diver's bezel has minute ratcheting and TEGIMENT surface hardening for scratch resistance.
