The Seiko Prospex, reference SSC017, is a chronograph with a 43.5 mm steel case. The case measures 13.8 mm thick, with a water-resistance rating of 200 metres. Solar-powered calibre V175 operates for approximately 6 months when fully charged. A Hardlex crystal covers the dial; the dial has a date display. The clasp has a folding construction with push-button release. Movement accuracy is plus or minus 15 seconds per month. The lug width measures 20 mm; elapsed time is measured in increments of 1/5 second. The dial has luminous hands and indices.
