Seiko Astron

The Seiko Astron, reference SSH023J1, has a 42.7 mm steel case. This is a limited edition of 1500 pieces. The case is 13.5 mm thick, with a lug-to-lug measurement of 50 mm and a water-resistance rating of 100 metres. Solar-powered calibre 5X53 contains 12 jewels and operates for approximately 6 months when fully charged. The dial is covered by a dual-curved sapphire crystal; the dial has a date display. A three-fold clasp with push-button release and fine adjustment fastens the watch; the dial has LumiBrite on the hands and indices. Movement accuracy is plus or minus 15 seconds per month without signal reception at temperatures between 5 and 35 degrees Celsius. The case has a see-through back.
