The Seiko Astron, reference SBXC088, is a GMT watch with a 45.3 mm titanium case. The watch has world time, a perpetual calendar and a power reserve indicator. The case is 13.1 mm thick, with a lug-to-lug measurement of 51.9 mm and a water-resistance rating of 100 metres. Solar-powered calibre 5X53 contains 12 jewels and operates for approximately 6 months when fully charged. Over the dial is a box-shaped sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating on the inner surface. The dial has a day display; a three-fold clasp with push-button release fastens the watch. Movement accuracy is plus or minus 15 seconds per month without signal reception. LumiBrite appears on the hands and indices.
