The Seiko Astron, reference SSE115J1, has a 44.8 mm titanium case. The watch has world time, a perpetual calendar and a power reserve indicator. The case measures 12.4 mm thick, with a water-resistance rating of 100 metres. Solar-powered calibre 8X22 contains 8 jewels and operates for approximately 6 months when fully charged. Over the dial is a sapphire crystal with a Super Clear coating. The dial has a date display; the hands and indices carry LumiBrite. Movement accuracy is plus or minus 15 seconds per month without signal reception at temperatures between 5 and 35 degrees Celsius. A crocodile leather strap closes with a three-fold clasp with push-button release.
