The Seiko Astron, reference SBXC147, is a GMT watch with a 42.7 mm titanium case. The watch has world time, a perpetual calendar and a power reserve indicator. The case is 12.2 mm thick, with a lug-to-lug measurement of 48 mm and a water-resistance rating of 100 metres. Solar-powered calibre 5X53 contains 12 jewels and operates for approximately 6 months when fully charged. A sapphire crystal with a Super Clear coating covers the dial. The dial has a day display; a three-fold clasp with push-button release fastens the watch. Movement accuracy is plus or minus 15 seconds per month without signal reception. LumiBrite is applied to the hands and indices.
