The Seiko Astron, reference SBXC115, is a GMT watch with a 42.7 mm steel case. This is a limited edition of 1700 pieces; the watch has world time, a perpetual calendar and a power reserve indicator. The case is 13.3 mm thick, with a lug-to-lug measurement of 49.9 mm and a water-resistance rating of 100 metres. Solar-powered calibre 5X53 contains 12 jewels and operates for approximately 6 months when fully charged. The dial has a day display. The clasp has a three-fold construction with push-button release. LumiBrite is applied to the hands and indices. A dual-curved sapphire crystal with a Super Clear coating covers the dial.
