Rolex Day-Date 40 mm

Rolex Day-Date 40 mm, reference 228398TBR-0043, cased in 18 ct yellow gold. The case measures 40 mm across and 12 mm thick, with a diamond-set bezel framing the dial. A Cyclops lens sits over the date on the scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. The white mother-of-pearl dial is set with diamonds, and Rolex's own calibre 3255 drives the watch, self-winding with a power reserve of about 70 hours and Superlative Chronometer certification. Alongside the day and date, the movement runs a central seconds hand. The watch is fitted to a President bracelet in yellow gold, closed with a concealed folding Crownclasp. Water resistance stands at 100 metres, aided by the screw-down winding crown.
