Rolex Day-Date 40 mm

This Rolex Day-Date 40 mm, reference 228398TBR-0042, comes in 18 ct yellow gold with a case measuring 40 mm across and 12 mm thick. The bezel is diamond-set, adding sparkle against the green ombré dial, which fades from colour at the centre to black at the edge. A sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens sits over the date. Inside is the calibre 3255, a self-winding Perpetual movement with a power reserve of around 70 hours and Rolex's chronometer certification. The watch shows the day and date alongside central seconds, and the screw-down crown adds security to daily wear. It is fitted to a President bracelet in yellow gold with a concealed folding Crownclasp. The case is waterproof to 100 metres.
